Dried Split Ginger

Dried Split Ginger is a flowering plant whose rhizome, ginger root or simply ginger, is widely used as a spice or a folk medicine and has been used as a natural medicine for thousands of years across several cultures. The main producers of Ginger worldwide are China, India and Nigeria, with countries like Peru, Myanmar and Thailand also having smaller cultivations. Robust International has state of the art infrastructure for cleaning and processing Dried Ginger in order to provide our clients with the best quality available directly from the farmgate.

As Ginger is a product very sensitive to quality, the goods procured go through a very careful process of sieving, magnet cleaning as well as multiple hand picking and sun drying sessions in order to maintain their quality for shipment to our clients worldwide. We also offer Organic Ginger that complies to FDA and EU regulations on pesticides and Aflatoxins/Ochratoxins.

Dried Whole Ginger

Dried Whole Ginger is the whole form of the ginger root. Its properties are very similar to Split Ginger although their practical applications differ slightly. Extractors who use ginger for oleoresin extraction for example, get better yields from Whole Ginger as opposed to Split Ginger. Moreover, split ginger is considered a value-added product and hence the market rates are accordingly significantly higher compared to Whole Ginger, whose rates are generally much more competitive.

Whole Turmeric Fingers

Turmeric, a plant in the ginger family, is native to Southeast Asia and is grown commercially in that region, primarily in India. Its rhizome (underground stem) is used as a culinary spice and traditional medicine. Today, turmeric is promoted as a dietary supplement for a variety of conditions, including arthritis, digestive disorders, respiratory infections, allergies, liver disease, depression, and many others.

Turmeric is a common spice and a major ingredient in curry powder. Curcumin is a major component of turmeric, and the activities of turmeric are commonly attributed to curcuminoids (curcumin and closely related substances). Curcumin gives turmeric its yellow color.

We mainly offer Whole Turmeric Fingers from Myanmar and the variety in quality depends on the region the raw materials are procured from.

Varieties:
– Hinthata T-70 (5.8+ Curcumin)
– Kyawse (4.5-5% Curcumin)
– Other Areas (3-3.5% Curcumin)
